Royal Lymington Yacht Club

Training Centre

The Royal Lymington Yacht Club operates a professional RYA Training Centre that supports its members and is open to non-members as well. The club offers a diverse program throughout the year, featuring RYA Learn to courses in Sailing, Powerboating, and Shorebased Theory.

Additionally, we have an excellent race training program, and many of our sailors have achieved international success. The centre also provides social sailing clubs for those who wish to relax on the water. Get on the water and learn with us!

Wednesday Junior Sailing

Wednesday Junior Sailing (WJS) programme has run for over 40 years throughout April to September.  WJS offers 8-17 year olds, members or non-members, the opportunity to learn lifelong skills on and around the water.

Schools & Groups

We can work with you to deliver what you need. This could include RYA courses, Race Training, Expedition Weeks, Tasters, Sustainability, and Stem Workshops.

Personal Tuition & Bespoke Courses

We offer all our courses as one-to-one options for those looking for a personal learning experience. We also offer bespoke courses and own-boat tuition.

Junior Fleets

Royal Lymington Yacht Club supports a number of very active groups (fleets), each using a specific boat class. Currently, we offer regular training in Optimists, Teras, Fevas, ILCAS, 420s, 29ers, Mariniers, and Shipmates.

Gift Vouchers
