Course Content
Our RYA Powerboat Level 1 course is perfect for a new powerboater or Powerboater with a long gap from the sport. This Learn to Powerboat course will introduce you to the fundamentals of powerboating. By the end of the course, you will understand boat handling, launching and landing, and how to stay safe on the water.
Our course will begin with understanding the boat and its safety equipment; once we are all ready, we will head out onto Lymington River, where you will understand the controls and how to be aware of other water users.
