Join us for our RYA Safety Boat course. It's a great two days on the water, looking at how to deal with different water users who need assistance. This course is ideal for people who want to support racing, Wednesday Junior Sailing, or just further their powerboat knowledge. It is also a prerequisite for the RYA Senior Instructor Certificate.

Course Content
The RYA Safety Boat course will get you thinking about others on the water and how best to support them if they become problematic. It will get you thinking about situations and how, with understanding and pre-positioning, many dangerous situations can be mitigated.
This course blends skill learning, classroom theory, and on-the-water scenarios. We will work on Lymington River and the Solent using a variety of powerboats and watercraft. This is a wet course, so please make sure you bring clothing for entering the water.

What to Bring?
Please bring with you:
Suitable clothing to enter the water multiple times over the weekend.
Swimming Towel.
Hat, Sunscreen (Summer) Gloves, Fleece hat (winter).
Lunch, water bottle and snacks. On weekend and late week courses the bar and restaurant will be open.
The club can provide buoyancy aids.
